Curriculum

At Taverham Hall Preparatory School in Norfolk, we combine structured classes and formal learning with innovative teaching methods to provide a balance of stimulation, exploration and fun. National Curriculum subjects are tackled inside the classroom with interactive whiteboards and outside the classroom, in our highly acclaimed Forest School programme.

‘The well-planned, wide ranging and stimulating curriculum, which includes French and Latin together with ample opportunities to develop information and communications technology (ICT) skills, enables all pupils to reach high standards in relation to their age and ability.’ ISI inspection report November 2010

Class numbers are kept small and although timetables are set around the key subjects, English, Maths, Science and French, plenty of room is left for a full range of supporting subjects.

Taverham Hall has an established tradition of musical excellence and a full appreciation of the value of both performing and visual arts.

‘Their spiritual and cultural development is enhanced by inspirational experiences in art and music.’ ISI inspection report November 2010

Extensive grounds and excellent facilities for P.E. and sport, encourage our children to be healthy in body and mind.
